How do you enter the program?
To enter the program it is necessary to send the online application through this form; our staff will evaluate your sports and academic information and in case of positive evaluation you will be contacted for an interview. The recruitment process can start using the videos or the candidate will be asked to participate in the summer camp.
What are the requirements to enter the program?
The requirements are:
- playing football at a competitive level
- Attending secondary school or graduates or attending universities or recent graduates
What happens after joining YWC? (to be rephrased)
YWC follows every member with dedication. If you entered the program within 6-12 months you will travel to the United States to become a student-Athlete at an American college. YWC will take care of finding a context consistent with your academic and sporting characteristics.
What are the times before departure?
The route starts 6-12 months before the departure date. In some cases, you can start earlier for a more thorough preparation.
How do you get a scholarship?
Universities offer scholarships for sporting merits; the academic and sporting profile will be promoted to the YWC coach network
What does a scholarship cover?
Scholarships can cover costs for accommodation and university fees, they can have partial or total coverage, this depends on the profile and qualities of the student.

Do I have to play competitive sports to go to America to study?
Yes, to get a scholarship in an American High School it is necessary to play sports at a competitive level.
How long does the HS journey take?
It can last 6 or 12 months depends on the will of the boy.
YWC Camp
Il camp di YWC ha l’obbiettivo di conoscere i ragazzi sia calcisticamente che personalmente; ogni candidato avrà la possibilità di confrontarsi con attuali studenti atleti di YWC e con lo staff di YWC.

Why join the camp?
The camp represents an opportunity to understand in detail how the American path works; at the end of the camp each participant will receive an evaluation on the possibility of obtaining a scholarship in an American college.

Is it possible to become a professional?
The university championship is the only league in which 17 to 21 year olds can compete as there are no club teams in America. Professional teams select college league players through drafts.
How many university leagues are there?
The leagues in which the university championship is divided are NCAA NAIA and NJCAA. In the NCAA and NAIA leagues, schools with a 4-year cycle compete at the end of which a bachelor’s degree is obtained; while NJCAA are schools with a 2-year cycle at the end of which the associate degree is obtained.
How does the university championship work?
The university championship is divided into conferences according to the geographical area and the level of the teams. The championship of each team is made up of conference games, which establish progress towards the playoffs and the team’s ranking, and no conference games. The teams with the most conference game victories go to the playoffs and the playoff winners advance to the Finals.
Usl 2?
It is possible to play in the USL during the university course during the summer. USL is a summer league, stage for college players who want to show off to try to achieve professionalism.

At the end of their studies, each student is entitled to one working year in the United States in the context in which they graduated.
During the study period
Internships can be carried out while studying in America both during the semester and during the summer.
Do you work on campus?
You can work on campus in gyms in university offices etc.

What exams do I need to take to enter an American college?
The exams to be taken for those starting university in America are SAT aptitude exam, used as an entrance test for all universities TOEFL / IELTS language exam required for university entrance
For those moving from an Italian university it is only necessary to take the TOEFL / IELTS language exam

Is it possible to transfer to an American college even if I started a university in Italy?
Yes, the credits incurred in the Italian university are transferred to the American one.
